Local input management
Capture and configure local inputs before review
Sources / Capture is the staging surface for material that becomes feed items. Add or review local source configs here, use Manual Capture for pasted text, transcripts, or URL metadata, then review the resulting items in Feed and inspect briefing preparation context in Briefing.

Manual capture
Paste local text or transcripts, or save URL metadata as entered. Manual URL capture does not fetch page content.
Source readiness
RSS sources are configured locally and fetched only when you click a one-time fetch action. No polling, schedules, or background refresh are enabled here.
Review flow
After capture or fetch, use Feed to save, review, skip, or remove individual items. Briefing only organizes existing local inputs for future preparation.

Add Source Config

Create a local source record. Adding a source does not import content by itself.
Adapter: local mock/demo only; RSS fetch is separate. Briefing uses local saved, reviewed, and candidate items.

Manual Capture

Create one local feed item from pasted material or metadata.
Open Feed
Stores a local feed item. Manual URL metadata is saved as entered; the URL is not fetched.
Developer / Demo Tools
Mock ingest creates static local demo items for mock/local sources only. RSS sources are excluded; use Fetch RSS Once from an RSS source row.
